PRODUCT SELECTION - KEY POINTS
Boom Selection
Here's how to select from the options offered:
Many factors must be considered when selecting a boom that will provide the needed performance and the longest possible lifetime. Severe operations, continuous use, vessel traffic, and contact with shore and fixed structures all contribute to wear and ultimate failure of fabric and components. All styles of GlobeBoom® are designed to give the longest possible maintenance free service under the broadest range of potential operating conditions.
The size of boom and its skirt depth need to be considered. Choosing a boom from the various options available can be confusing. The goal of the selection process should be to obtain the longest possible lifetime and maximum performance.

Storage
The GlobeBoom® design offers excellent reserve buoyancy but makes the most of available storage space. The short spherical floats nest together closely, allowing all sizes of GlobeBoom® to be stored on a reel, in a storage box, or on a trailer with equal ease.
